Shining A Light on Keeley - Live Video Premiere
Earlier in May we wrote about Irish songwriter Keeley and her singles ‘Last Words’ along with ‘The Glitter and The Glue’. She was eager to get back on stage with her band and was finally able to play a sold-out headline show at Whelan’s, Dublin in October. Now, Moths and Giraffes are pleased to premiere a live video from that evening ahead of Keeley’s debut performance in London this December.
In June, Keeley put out her debut EP ‘Brave Warrior’, which featured her previously released singles as well as a new track in ‘Never Here Always There’. Released on Dimple Discs, the record label are hosting a showcase of some of their artists, with Keeley and Dragon Welding supporting Dublin five-piece Sack. Tickets for the gig at The Lexington in London on December 9th can be purchased below.
Keeley’s highly anticipated headline show at Whelan’s was played on October 13th, with Keeley selling an exclusive CD edition of her Brave Warrior EP for this performance. The video below was shot by Billy Cahill and features Keeley Moss on guitar and vocals, Marty Canavan on keyboards and Martin Fagan on bass guitar. This was drummer Tim O’Donovan’s first gig with Keeley and included the first performance of ‘You Never Made It That Far’, originally the B-Side to ‘The Glitter and The Glue’, the latter of which closed the evening.
Keeley will be playing more shows in 2022, be sure to visit her social media pages to catch those details as they become available, as well as news of her forthcoming debut album.
